Every great plastering job starts with careful preparation. We assess your walls for cracks, old paint, or damaged plaster, ensuring a solid foundation for the new application. Our team takes care of removing loose plaster, old wallpaper, and dust while protecting your floors and furniture with dust sheets.
For a strong and even bond, we prep the surface with PVA bonding adhesive, helping the plaster adhere properly. If we’re working on brick or concrete, we apply a primer to create the best foundation.
Using premium-quality materials, we apply the first coat of plaster evenly, applying tape to any joints, working in smooth strokes to create a consistent base. After allowing it to set, we follow up with a second coat and then the finishing coat for that perfect smoothness. Once the plaster dries, we refine the surface using specialist dustless sanding tools, removing any minor imperfections and creating a perfectly level finish. This ensures that once complete your walls and ceilings will be ready for painting or wallpapering.
Plaster needs time to cure properly before applying paint. We recommend waiting around 5-7 days for the best results. For added protection and longevity, we advise using a miss coat (a primer paint base) before applying the final colour.
